A VAT period is locked and I can’t resubmit it
- Open and login to the software
- Select the business
- Right click on the locked period and choose [Delete Period]
- Right click on the period list and choose [Sync with HMRC]
- Select the period
- Re-import the information and submit as normal
Please note, if HMRC have already received a submission for the period you’re attempting to resubmit, you will receive a DUPLICATE_SUBMISSION error from HMRC.
