• Open the Partnership from the client selection menu
  • Select ‘Partners’ from the left side of the screen, this will open the Partners summary screen
  • Click [Add Partner]
  • Complete the Partners details (the only mandatory fields are Names and UTR)
  • For you ease the software contains a facility to automatically allocate the Partnership income based on pre-defined percentages. To use this facility you have 3 options:
    • If all income is to be distributed equally between partners, select ‘Equal share of profit for all partners’ from the partnership summary screen. This will disable the partnership allocation options on the individual partners screen
    • All types of incomes are to be distributed using the same percentage enter the appropriate figure in the ‘Profit allocation field’
    • To allow different types of income to be distributed using different percentages, click the ‘edit’ button and then enter the breakdown of income percentages
    • If you prefer not to allocate income using set percentages then leave these fields empty, you will then be able to manually enter the income breakdown on the partnership statement
  • Once all details have been entered click [OK]
  • Repeat steps 1 to 6 until all partners have been added
